Press release from the issuing company

MARIETTA, Ga. – Perfect Image, the 42-year-old commercial printer and marketing support partner in Marietta, Georgia, has been named the 2024 Minority-Owned Business of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. The award, which recognizes a minority-owned business owner for excellence in leadership and achievement, was presented at the Cobb Chamber Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon on May 13. For the second year in a row, Perfect Image was also honored as one of Cobb Chamber’s Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year.

“We’re deeply honored by this recognition and want to congratulate all of our fellow 2024 award recipients in Cobb County,” said Ira Jackson, Perfect Image president. “As a 100% minority-owned business, we’re committed to gender and ethnic diversity and exceptional talent. Our colleagues hail from Bankhead to Ball Ground, Campbellton to Cumming, Marietta to Massachusetts, and Georgia to Guatemala – a true American dream story. We’re a proud member of the vibrant Cobb community, with its strong economy and world-class educational opportunities and cultural offerings. We’re equally proud to serve many distinguished educational institutions, nonprofits, and businesses here in Cobb County, statewide, and nationally.”

The award was presented to Jackson by Sharon Mason, Cobb Chamber president and CEO, and Mike Plant, chairman of the Cobb Chamber board of directors.

Jackson purchased Perfect Image in 1991, making concurrent investments in the commercial printing industry and Cobb County, where he made his home and raised a family. The company and its people have been a staple of the community for 33 years and a staunch ambassador of Cobb County’s diverse business community.

The Cobb Chamber Small Business of the Year Awards honor companies that serve as the economic backbone of the Cobb County community. Each May, the awards celebrate the ingenuity and achievements of small businesses within the chamber’s membership, which include more than 2,500 local businesses and organizations.
