Mimaki USA Announces JFX600-2531 UV-LED Large Format Flatbed Printer

Press release from the issuing company

Larger 8’ x 10 table accommodates two full 4’ x 8’ sheets or one 5’ x 10’ sheet

Suwanee, GA – Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, today announced its latest model, the JFX600-2531 UV-LED flatbed printer. Based on the popular JFX600-2513 printer, this model doubles the print area to increase productivity or to produce oversized graphics. The JFX600-2531 printer will make its North American debut in the Mimaki USA booth 1435 at the International Sign Expo, April 10-12, in Orlando.

Key features
Improved workflow for production flatbed printing. The JFX600-2531 printer features the exclusive Mimaki Toggle Print Function, where the print origin point can be set at two locations on the table. This gives operators the ability to position up to two 4-foot by 8-foot boards, multiple jigs, or smaller pre-cut pieces onto the table with the ability to rotate the origin point for true continuous printing of two different print jobs. While one section (origin point) is printing, the operator can unload finished prints from the previous section and affix the next board or jig without stopping production.

Nine vacuum zones for increased efficiency. The JFX600-2531 printer includes nine distinct vacuum zones that can be manually opened or closed with a turn of a valve. The zones ensure efficient use of the table by enabling the operator to quickly close an area not used during printing, saving time by eliminating manual masking.

Opportunities for oversized applications. The larger bed size of the JFX600-2531 printer can also accommodate oversized sheets with a total printable area of up to 98.4” (2500 mm) wide x 122” (3100 mm) long and up to 2.36” (60 mm) thick, for creating oversized graphics without the need to seam rigid materials. This capability accommodates a 5-foot by 10-foot board and lends itself well to in-store applications such as POP/POS displays, standees, backlits, and indoor and outdoor signage. and promotional campaigns. This oversized bed can accommodate media for architectural applications such as glass, partitions, and plywood, enabling new markets for print service providers to produce commercial and interior décor, as well as art reproduction applications.

Ink selection for a variety of applications

The JFX600-2531 printer can use one of several Mimaki original ink sets, depending on the application:

• For high scratch and chemical resistance: LH-100 ink; available in C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm, W, Clear.
