Press release from the issuing company
The print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, is excited to announce its newest member and supporter, Weatherbys, the horseracing administrator founded in 1770. As the latest member of Two Sides, Weatherbys is set to amplify its commitment to sustainability, with a specific focus on its renowned print services to the racing industry.
Celebrating 250 years in 2020, Weatherbys stands as a stalwart provider of racing services to the horseracing industry. Beyond the well-known printing, design, and fulfilment of racecards, Weatherbys offers a comprehensive suite of services, including pedigree research, publishing and marketing. In recent months, the business announced a print partnership with Northampton Town FC, building on the relationship which has seen Weatherbys design and print The Cobbler, the official magazine of Northampton Town FC for over 15 years.
"As publishers, we shoulder the responsibility and guardianship for one of sports' oldest journals, The Racing Calendar.” says Liam Harris, Senior Business Development Executive. “Weatherbys is recognised in the racing world for producing over 3 million racecards annually, publishing a diverse array of industry titles, and electronically supplying pre and post-race data to global media. Sustainability is a key focus for Weatherbys, our clients, and the general public, and joining Two Sides provides new avenues for us to convey to our customers and audience the importance of sustainable print. We are delighted to now be members."
Josh Birch, Campaign Manager of Two Sides UK, expresses enthusiasm about the collaboration stating; “We’re pleased to welcome Weatherbys on board as members of Two Sides. Our partnership with them will help us communicate the great environmental story that print and paper has to tell, reaching many consumers. It’s always a pleasure to welcome new members on board and we look forward to working with Weatherbys.”
By aligning with Two Sides, Weatherbys gains access to a wealth of co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice, and events.
