Digital Printing With Dry Toner Is Becoming More Productive, Versatile and Sustainable

Press release from the issuing company

By Dieter Finna, Printing Engineer

The Graphic Communication Advisors Group—GCAG (https://hrlevenson.wixsite.com/gcag) published a third paper by Printing Engineer, Dieter Finna.

Finna explores several new developments from Xeikon that set fresh highlights in digital printing. On the one hand, Finna notes, the speed-trimmed LX3000 digital press offers higher productivity in label printing. However, then there’s TITON toner technology that opens up new areas of application in flexible packaging as well as in print finishing. Finally, Finna stresses that there has been a fundamental improvement in the sustainability of the dry toner process itself.

Finna spent many years at Flint Group and held various positions in the printing plate and ink business. He founded pack.consult in 2016, a platform for content marketing and packaging printing consulting: www.pack-consult.org

Harvey Levenson, Cal Poly Emeritus Professor and GCAG coordinator, said: “Finna presents some seminal insights into the use of dry toner for digital printing and has become a welcome contributing author to the GCAC. We invite others from industry and education to submit original articles of value to the graphic communication industry.”

Members of the press and other industry associations are invited to reprint and/or distribute Mr. Finna’s paper.
