Trish Witkowski to End “Fold of the Week” and Launch Direct Mail Course in 2024

Press release from the issuing company

Long-running Series Ends at 15-Year Milestone and 665 Episodes To Allow Focus On New Online Direct Mail Course.

HUNT VALLEY, MD – Trish Witkowski of Foldfactory announced that she will be ending her long-running weekly YouTube series, “Fold of the Week” in 2024—a series she began in 2009 that has over 30,000 subscribers and more than 650 episodes to date.

Changing Focus to Online Courses

Witkowski announced in an email to tens of thousands of subscribers: “For probably 3 years now, I’ve been wanting to release a robust online course that’s all about how to leverage the power of Direct Mail in today’s digital world, and every year I tell myself I’ll get it done—and every year I’m disappointed to see that online course set as a goal for the upcoming year. The reality that I’ve had to accept is that I can’t shoot and produce a weekly video series *AND* create the online courses that I believe will truly help you and others in the industry.”

Witkowski is no stranger to online course creation. She has three online courses on LinkedIn Learning (two are currently available), with her Print Production: Folding class notably boasting almost 65,000 learners. “I love teaching, and I have a lot to share, so sundowning the series allows me to really focus on creating robust courses that can help the graphic arts industry and fill the void in print marketing education. Witkowski plans to launch her new Direct Mail course in Spring of 2024.

Bringing An End to a Successful Series

To bring the series to an exciting close, Witkowski announced that there are 10 episodes left, and these episodes will be part of a special program called “Best of Fold of the Week” where she’ll share fan favorites and her personal favorites across 10 categories, such as: Best of Cross Folds, Best of Dimensional Mail, Best of Event Invitations, Best of Accordions, and more. She’ll be releasing one “Best of Fold of the Week” episode every 2 weeks starting November 16th.

It's important to note that the end of her weekly video series does not mean the end of visibility for Trish Witkowski or the Foldfactory, however. Foldfactory.com and the Foldfactory YouTube channel will remain fully available and functional as well. “I’m not going away—I’m just shifting priorities so that I can continue to add value and bring new ideas and strategies to the industry in other ways,” says Witkowski.
