KBA to Feature the 74 Karat Digital Offset Press at Print 01

Press release from the issuing company

Fairfield, NJ; May 14, 2001 - The Digital Press Division of KBA North America Inc. will be giving live demonstrations of an enhanced 74 Karat digital offset press in the KBA North America booth #929 at the Print '01 exposition in Chicago, IL, September 6-13, 2001. Enhancements to be shown will cover the areas of ink handling, user interface functionality and plate cleaning, among others. The 74 Karat press is a compact, waterless and keyless, 4-color digital offset press with a 20.5 by 29-inch (4-up) format. The 74 Karat press can run more short- and medium-run jobs per shift than conventional offset presses, and with considerably less operator effort. It can be easily integrated into today's digital workflows, thereby combining the power of full digital production with the high quality of true offset printing.
