Lecta Defines its Strategic Sustainability Targets for 2030

Press release from the issuing company

Aligned with its ambitious ESG strategy and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Lecta’s firm commitment to sustainability entails a strong ethical commitment of respect and accountability toward the people and society with which we interact.

In 2022 Lecta decided to formalize its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Strategy as a key pillar of its business strategy moving forward, with regard to the supply chain thus contributing to supporting our customers' ambitions as well involving our own suppliers on this journey.

Lecta has set targets and defined key performance indicators (KPIs) for its sustainability work. Progress is regularly monitored at a Group level and consolidated results on the Group’s performance will be reported annually.

Lecta recognizes the importance of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and supports 11 goals out of 17, which have been identified as most relevant where the Group has the largest impact through its operations and products.

In addition, Lecta is committed to obtaining SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) validation of our CO 2 Roadmap toward Net Zero target during 2023.

Find out more about Lecta’s strategic sustainability targets in our 2022 Sustainability Report.
