Press release from the issuing company

Irvine, CA (May 1, 2001) Toshiba America Business Solutions, Electronic Imaging Division (TABS EID), which manufactures and sells networkable, digital copiers, multifunctional products and facsimiles, today announced it has formed a strategic marketing agreement with PaperFly Corporation (http//www.paperfly.com), an Internet-based business information management system. PaperFly will provide Toshiba customers with secure, online access to their stored documents from anywhere in the world through a PC and Internet connection. The service benefits remote and traveling employees and promotes easy file collaboration and sharing between companies. An Application Service Provider (ASP), PaperFly allows businesses of all sizes to create an online repository for their documents, which can then be accessed from around the world through a PC and Internet connection. The agreement is a continuing effort by Toshiba America Business Solutions to provide a wide array of solutions to improve workflow efficiencies and reduce costs for its customers. Toshiba Solutions Group was created in 1999 to increase sales and profits and expand business opportunities through new value-added products, services and vendor alliances. "Partnering with PaperFly provides our customers with a new and exciting technology that will improve workflow and communications without the significant investment and training involved with traditional enterprise information management systems ," said Rick Taylor, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Operations, TABS. "Our partnership with Toshiba America Business Solutions is an important milestone for our company," said PaperFly CEO, President and Co-Founder, Ajay Narain. "By partnering with a manufacturer like Toshiba, we can bring our award winning service and its benefits to thousands of new customers leading the way to new opportunities for both Toshiba and PaperFly." "The new Toshiba e-STUDIO line of digital multifunctional products will act as an Ôon ramp' to the PaperFly information management system," said Mike Alpert, Director, Toshiba Solutions Group. "Using Toshiba e-STUDIO products, customers can fax documents directly into PaperFly. They can also use the Scan-to-E-mail function to e-mail documents into PaperFly. Documents on PaperFly can be securely accessed, filed and retrieved from anywhere in the world. In addition, documents can be found quickly with the system's robust search capabilities." According to Alpert, one of the most powerful features of PaperFly is the ability to collaborate on a document with other users via their web browser. "Imagine a mid-size law firm with multiple offices being able to share case files by going online. Not only can they see the original document or file, but they can also post new versions or notes for that same case file and have them automatically filed away in one convenient location where anyone with proper access can view them." PaperFly does not require special software or training to use. To access a document, users simply go to the Login section of the PaperFly website and type in their company name and password.
