GPA’S Co-Hosted Sustainability Event a Preview for Dscoop

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, IL – GPA, the experts in providing global industry and product intelligence to the Digital, Offset and Flexo communities, in partnership with Fedrigoni, Dscoop and MindFire, hosted a Sustainability Event, ENGAGE, earlier this month at GPA’s HQ in Chicago. With strong support from HP and local commercial printer and pioneers, Blooming Color, the groups welcomed industry and thought leaders for a day and a half long conference filled with breakout sessions focused on sustainability in the print industry. The momentum is propelling this group into Dscoop EDGE in St. Louis, May 7-10, where GPA plans to exhibit and further the discussion on a Sustainability Panel.

“Speaking at the Sustainability Event was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the intersection between data-driven marketing and sustainability in the print industry,” says Dave Rosendahl, Co-founder, and President of MindFire, about his speaking engagement at ENGAGE. “It was great seeing so many print professionals committed to implementing sustainable practices and sharing insights on leveraging digital technology like PURLs (Personalized URLs), PQRs (Personalized QR Codes), and Artificial Intelligence to make print more sustainable while also more performant,” says Rosendahl. “I'm excited to see how the industry will continue to evolve and lead the charge in sustainable marketing practices!”

With heavy support and engagement from the Group Sustainability Lead for Fedrigoni, Eugenio Brunori and Massimo Zonca, Product Development Manager, the breakout sessions at GPA HQ brought together global leaders and industry pioneers in an intimate space where meaningful discussions took place and plans for future engagements and initiatives were made. In addition, Sean Carr, Director of Sustainability for HH Global, and Rosemarie Breske Garvey, President of Blooming Color and Dscoop AMS board member, hosted a breakout session specifically outlining how critical a sustainability framework for printers is and how to manage to industry and global expectations.

MaryAnn Geers, SVP of Marketing and Corporate Strategy for GPA says, “the Fedrigoni Group and GPA are focused on leadership in ESG and sustainability programs and education within the printing and packaging industry. A great example being the wide range of customers and large attendance at our Sustainability event.” Geers shares GPA’s plans and partnership with Dscoop and their upcoming presence at EDGE in St. Louis. “We are inviting our customers to join us in continuing the conversation at Dscoop; no matter where you are in your sustainability journey; GPA will be able to guide you with understanding the global trends.”

GPA is thrilled to continue their support and partnership with Dscoop. They’ll exhibit with a heavy presence of industry experts and will plan to network in the various learning sessions and events planned, including a seat on the Sustainability Panel. The combination of engaging interactions with attendees, a focus on innovative substrates and an active participation in industry discussions, illustrate GPA’s presence at Dscoop and their continued strength in the marketplace.
