iPrint Taps Into Corporate Marketing Collateral, Kit Fulfillment Industry

Press release from the issuing company

(Menlo Park, CA - April 18, 2001) - iPrint, inc. (NASDAQ: IPRT), the leading online printing technology and infrastructure provider, today announced that it has launched e-fulfillment services for corporations. This new technology allows companies to offer their members and customers easy access to ordering multi-component kits and marketing material via a customized electronic interface. iPrint creates self-service online environments integrated with corporations' e-procurement systems to enable those companies' members and partners to log on to the corporate Web site, select the items they want, specify quantities, enter shipping and billing information, and place the order. iPrint handles all the internal billing, credit card processing, backend fulfillment, shipping, and order tracking functions. "iPrint continues to provide enterprises with automated print services designed to streamline corporate product fulfillment," said Tom Haley, Vice President of the Enterprise Systems Group for iPrint. "iPrint's self-service applications help companies reduce costs and improve the efficiency with which customized corporate kits and marketing collateral are ordered, fulfilled and delivered." iPrint electronically integrates its e-fulfillment technology into its backend facilities, ensuring seamless transaction processing, online order tracking, and quick turnaround. And because the fully automated service can integrate with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and e-procurement systems, corporations reap the benefits of lower transaction costs and productivity savings. "E-fulfillment is yet another example of new print services that can be easily layered on top of our robust print procurement infrastructure," added Haley. "We've spent more than five years innovating our backend to fulfill print orders, and this new e-fulfillment service leverages our investment in this fast-growing market." In addition to handling printing e-fulfillment, iPrint integrates its technology into corporate enterprise e-procurement systems, facilitating the online procurement of custom-printed stationery items, brochures, promotional and apparel items, and direct mail and fulfillment services. Printing and fulfillment are completed through iPrint's extensive network of commercial printing partners or via existing vendor relationships.
