We at Resino Inks experience that customers often find it challenging to meet the consumers’ demands regarding chemical resistance.

This can be for plastic packaging, labels for chemical products etc.

Chemical resistance is mostly achieved by using solvent based inks, and we have earlier developed solvent-based, alkali-resistant ink for labels.

However, it is a possible scenario that the customer is not allowed to use flammable inks in the print shop.

UV curing inks can be a solution, but this requires a UV printing press.

The solution: 2K water-based ink resistant to alkali & various chemicals

To find a solution to this challenge, we investigated several solutions in close cooperation with a customer.

We aimed to develop a high-quality, water-based ink that can resist alkaline detergents, hot water, and a multitude of chemicals, while the print retains its colors.

We have dived into our technology toolbox and further developed on existing technologies.

This resulted in a two-component water-based ink tailored to these specific needs.

We search in our technology toolbox for previous solutions and then we further develop a new, tailored solution solving the current challenge.
