Barbieri Wins Honorable Pinnacle Intertech Award

Press release from the issuing company

Barbieri is proud to be honored with the Pinnacle InterTech Award 2022 for its Spectro LFP qb textile edition, the market leading spectrophotometer for large format and textile digital printing. The Pinnacle InterTech Awards are sponsored by PRINTING United Alliance and recognize innovative technologies which are expected to have a major impact on the graphic communications and related industries.

The “Spectro LFP qb Textile Edition” is the worldwide unique spectrophotometer for automated color measurement for digital textile printing including dye-sublimation and direct-to-garment printing. The technology comes with unique features for accurate, fast, and reliable color measurement on textiles.

“The Pinnacle InterTech Award program celebrates the inventiveness of suppliers and recognizes technology advancing our industry,” says Dawn Nye, program manager, PRINTING United Alliance. “The judges had the tough task of singling out breakthrough innovations from many excellent entries. We congratulate all who participated and those who were designated with this award.”

Heart piece of the technology is the vision technology, a camera and software detect the center of each patch to be measured and the measurements are done fully automatically in scan mode – even if the material is challenging to measure.

This makes it possible to measure fully automatically and with highest precision and repeatability any kind of textiles and fabrics.

„Digital Textile printing is a massively growing market, and we are committed to strive for constant innovation by listening to our customers and partners. The whole Barbieri team is proud to have been recognized with this honorable award” said Markus Barbieri, CTO of Barbieri electronic. “Our Spectro LFP qb textile edition supports customers to become top performers and improve and optimize their color management and achieve highest color quality on different textile materials”
