Press release from the issuing company

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. – MGF Services & Equipment is excited to announce the addition of Colordyne Technologies’ UV and Water-Based inkjet print engines to their new equipment offerings. With over 40 years of experience, MGF’s consultative approach and commitment to outstanding customer service are what keep them thriving. Colordyne’s digital retrofit solutions allow users to turn their new or existing flexo press, web handling, packaging, and converting systems into state-of-the-art single pass hybrid printing platforms.

"It makes perfect sense for us to add the Colordyne digital retrofit print engines to our new equipment offerings for our growing customer base in the labels, packaging, corrugated boxes and converting market segments. We pride ourselves on being a dependable ‘Single Source’ provider and Colordyne’s solutions bring cost savings and superior performance with variable data, simplified for optimized production efficiencies," says Mona Friedl, President of MGF.

MGF Services & Equipment is a full-service provider from machine shop fabrication processes, parts, and support services to buying and selling used print manufacturing equipment. MGF specializes in the commercial offset printing, direct-mail, digital printing & finishing, labels, packaging & converting, flexo and industrial manufacturing industries.

Colordyne Technologies, also Wisconsin-based, is a leading manufacturer of high speed, high resolution and low capital cost UV-LED and water-based inkjet print engines. Colordyne’s unique retrofit approach to digital printing allows label converters to seamlessly integrate process color inkjet directly onto existing production lines at breakthrough speeds and without the loss of current press functionality.

The MGF history dates back to the year 1976 when Walter Friedl dedicated his engineering and technical expertise to the redesign and support of large format offset presses. Mona’s maternal grandfather named Edward Kleist ran his own printing press company in 1922 from Milwaukee, WI.

In April of 2004, with over 25 years of printing machinery experience in the aftermarket parts and service support business for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, Mona closed the door of the family-run business and opened another, namely MGF Services LLC.

"The key to ongoing success in my world is to consistently find new ways to support and service customers. Most of the services that we offer today have been developed by listening to our customers and understanding their needs. Aftermarket products and refurbishing leaders differentiate themselves by providing superior services and enhanced product solutions. Innovation and creativity are vital for developing and providing continuously improved services and product solutions."

The MGF philosophy centers around the reality that it is not always necessary to invest in new equipment in order to achieve the desirable results when a well-constructed strategy using re-engineered and enhanced existing assets can provide a more cost-effective solution to meet one’s investment objectives.

The MGF Team of experts can assist you to identify the best Colordyne Technologies digital retrofit print engine solution that will enable you to extend the production life of your existing or new flexo or converting systems for years to come.
