Boston, MA - Seybold Boston 2001, April 9th, 2001 – Today MetaCommunications, Inc., the leading developer of job management and digital asset management software solutions, announces that Pitman Company, North America’s leading distributor to the printing and publishing industry, has selected Virtual Ticket and Job Manager software packages for nationwide distribution. The agreement opens new markets for MetaCommunications and expands the breadth of product offerings the Pitman Company will offer their customers across the United States.
The Pitman Company’s aggressive entry into the value added solutions market represents a significant investment in key growth markets for the company. The Pitman Company distribution agreement comes on the heels of an announcement by MetaCommunications that it will release automated interfaces to some of the most prevalent third-party accounting software packages on the market today.
