Press release from the issuing company

MELVILLE, N.Y. – Canon U.S.A., a leader in digital imaging solutions, continues to strive to develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers such as EO Johnson Business Technologies, which is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. Canon congratulates EO Johnson on this significant milestone and expresses its deep appreciation for the long-standing relationship between the two companies.

Based in the upper Midwest, EO Johnson has provided a variety of print and business technology services to its customers since its inception in 1957. For the last 43 years, EO Johnson has brought Canon’s imaging devices and solutions to its clients, which was a critical step in their growth as a company.

EO Johnson was founded by Emery (E.O.) Johnson, who started the company by selling, serving and supporting copier devices throughout Wisconsin. Over the years, EO Johnson has expanded its footprint to include seven locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. The company now employs more than 280 people and includes seven different product divisions to meet a variety of customer demands.

“Canon congratulates our partner EO Johnson on its 65th anniversary and wish them continued success,” said Mason Olds, senior vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “Canon greatly appreciates the valuable relationships we’ve developed and maintained with our dealers. We’ve worked with EO Johnson for decades to help provide customers the tools needed to continue to thrive in a constantly evolving work environment, and we look forward to many more productive years.”

Mary Jo Johnson, the CEO/Owner of EO Johnson Business Technologies and the daughter of the founder, said it continues to be a rewarding experience to see a business her family started in the middle of the previous century still thriving.

“This year marks another milestone for us, and I know 65 years after its founding that my father would be proud of what we continue to accomplish and the dedication our employees show in living up to our core values of customer service,” Johnson said.
