New York, April 10, 2001 - Bowne & Co., Inc., (NYSE: BNE), the world's largest financial printer and a leader in document creation and management, today announced it has acquired Document Management Services, Inc. (DMS), a regional outsourcing company based in Boston, Mass. The newly acquired company is the premier provider of outsourcing services to the professional services market in New England. Many of Boston's leading law firms, investment banks and accounting firms are among its clients. DMS will become a part of Bowne's outsourcing unit, Bowne Business Solutions (BBS). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Carl Crosetto, President of Bowne & Co. said, "The acquisition of DMS supports the growth of our outsourcing business and extends our capabilities to this strategically important market.
