printChannel.com Announces Results for First Quarter of 2001

Press release from the issuing company

BOSTON, MA, April 9, 2001-printChannel.com(TM), a leading vendor of Web-based print procurement solutions, has announced year-over-year revenue growth of 290 percent in the first quarter of 2001. The company also reports that it has more than doubled the number of print supplier licensees from the last quarter of 2000. printChannel.com's transaction count grew by 32 percent in the first quarter of 2001 versus the last quarter of 2000, to over 42,000 processed print orders.  The company beat its financial targets for the period. "We are pleased with our first quarter results, which show a significant growth," states Oliver Pflug, CEO of printChannel.com. "Despite a pronounced slowdown in the overall economy, this kind of growth indicates strong validation for our business model, the value we provide, and the loyalty of our customers," he added. printChannel is a highly scalable, configurable online print procurement solution that lets print vendors offer to corporate customers a wide range of procurement services for variable data, catalog and first-time print through a standard Web browser and Internet connection. printChannel.com does not broker printing and has a policy of not selling to end-user corporations directly. It is the leading vendor of Web-based print procurement solutions to manufacturers, distributors, and brokers of commercial print. Through its Configurator technology, printChannel.com's customers have set up over 500 corporations on the printChannel system worldwide, and have processed over 200,000 print orders since the service went live in April of 1998. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with offices throughout the U.S. and Europe.
