April 9, 2001 SAN MATEO, CA (Seybold) Enfocus Software, the leading publisher of Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) tools, has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, for the distribution of Enfocus' suite of PDF solutions in North America.
Enfocus PitStop Professional, PitStop Server, PowerUp PDF and WebPerfect PDF provide automated and interactive capabilities for editing, correcting, and validating PDF documents and workflows. New Certify PDF plug-in, based on Enfocus' Certified PDF Workflow technology, streamlines PDF workflows by moving preflighting upstream to the document originators and by tracking the editing history of the PDF file. Enfocus products are designed for graphic arts, internet, and ePaper markets; and have won numerous industry accolades for providing powerful, rapid and accurate flow of PDF documents.
Ingram Micro will provide Enfocus software products to its traditional value-added resellers that service the graphic arts and enterprise markets. Additionally, Enfocus Software is participating in Ingram Micro's Partnership America· government reseller program offering extensive products, discounts and support for government and education customers.
