Valassis Adopts New Look and Name to Better Reflect Image
Press release from the issuing company
LIVONIA, Mich., April 3 Today, Valassis Communications, Inc. announced a name change, along with a new corporate logo. Valassis Communications, Inc. is now Valassis (NYSE: VCI).
Valassis products and services differ from broadscale image advertising because they all have a call to action to the consumer, in addition to an advertising impression. Valassis Connective Media TM Solutions deliver consumer messages, which provide incentive to try a brand or buy a brand. They establish and build relationships with consumers on behalf of Valassis clients, and any point in a product's life cycle.
"An extensive survey of your clients showed that there is a lot of value in the name Valassis. We wanted to retain that," said Alan F. Schultz, chairman, president and CEO of Valassis. "Our clients have a high regard for us, believe in our integrity level and know we deliver on our promises. We want to maintain that trust and further build on these great relationships."
