Océ’s Bag of Tricks, Includes TDS400 with PDF Support, Other Software Solutions

3/01 - CeBIT 2001 New, smart software and product solutions 03.17.01 - Océ will be exhibiting their new, smart software and product solutions in revealing high-tech office simulations. With something for everyone, these simulations will include reinvented and redesigned task-based solutions, which promise to bring organisation automation to new levels of sophistication. Headed by Océ representatives, these simulations will demonstrate automated systems of the future, ready for use in today’s fast-paced organisations. Océ smart software solutions and products will be demonstrated in halls 1 and 21. A large number of new Océ software and systems will be featured. This will include the Océ DPS400, Océ CPS700, and our new range of technical documentation systems (Océ TDS400, Océ TDS600 and Océ TDS800). There will also be a number of software products featured including Océ Engineering Exec, Océ Find Logic, and Océ Doc Works. Also to note, a number of software products, which are under development, will show to demonstrate what is possible with Océ software solutions and products. Océ’s new CPS700 Colour Production System A ‘Caribbean Colour Show’, will add a splash of the tropics, with the launch of the new Océ CPS700 (Colour Production System) with customer deliveries scheduled for the second half of 2001 onwards. This innovative technology brings short-run colour quality to long-run jobs through unprecedented productivity, stability and ease of use. Simulations Here we present the latest developments in making integrated document solutions which are more automated, more cost-effective, and save an incredible amount of time. On departmental ‘islands’ a number of company departments will be represented. These departments include the mailroom, the print room, data processing department, the marketing division, general office, and the drawing room with CAD stations. In each case, real-life customer applications will be demonstrated. First system with on-board PDF to be Océ TDS400 The first in a range of Océ wide format printing systems with on-board support for PDF is the new Océ TDS400. This economically priced multifunctional system brings the benefits of productive and cost-effective wide format printing to company departments and drawing offices. Thanks to its modular system concept, the Océ TDS400 can be extended to handle copying and scan-to-file functions, making it an excellent choice to fulfil diverse document requirements.
