Press release from the issuing company

PHOENIX – MUTOH’s VerteLith™ RIP Software has been recognized by the European Digital Press Association with an EDP Award in the Workflow Technologies software category.

This award recognizes the best products in several categories, honoring the best and newest products. For 2021, VerteLith was thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by members of the European Digital Press Association and then voted on by members as a winner in the Workflow Technologies category. The Technical Committee noted VerteLith RIP software is ideal for print shops and offers functionality usually found in more expensive programs. “We are very proud to receive this prestigious and valuable technical award for our new VerteLith™ RIP Software on behalf of our Japanese development team,” says Stephan Heintjens, MUTOH Europe Product Marketing and Product Application Manager. “The EDP awards represent a strong point of reference for decision makers in the digital print industry. For MUTOH it is a token of recognition and acknowledgement of our ongoing commitment to bring high quality, added value and innovation in our products. Our VerteLith software enables MUTOH printer owners to get the best from their printer and allows them to manage the entire print environment better and more efficiently from one central backbone software.”

Additionally, VerteLith also generates white and/or varnish layers using a selection of presets and includes a powerful preview function that supports soft proofing and on-screen RIP previewing of the actual printing dots prior to output to help eliminate mistakes and waste. The RIP includes the Pantone© spot color library to allow accurate mapping of any named solid/coated Pantone spot color within a design.
