New IST System Permits Gauging UV Energy Output When and Where Needed

Bolingbrook, IL, March 2001 A new mobile ultraviolet energy measuring device from IST America the North American subsidiary of IST Metz permits gauging the output of ultraviolet energy on printing presses and converting equipment at any time. The system which is available in several configurations also can be used to compare the efficiency and output of several ultraviolet units. The IST UMI-1 Mobile UV Measurement System consists of a display and either of two different measuring devices. The IST UMD-1 Mobile UV Measurement System is equipped with a measuring probe, and is particularly applicable to ultraviolet curing done on conveyors. For further information call 630-771-0590.
