Press release from the issuing company

Members of the Northeast States Sign Association recently voted to fill the 14-person Board for 2022.

OWINGS MILLS, MD - The Northeast States Sign Association (NSSA) recently named Strategic Factory’s Tricia Smack to its Board of Directors for 2022 through a unanimous membership vote.

Established in 1995, the NSSA represents signage companies in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic and is affiliated with the International Sign Association (ISA). They act as a single voice for industry professionals on signage-related issues at the local and national levels and provide continued educational resources and training opportunities. As a member of the Board of Directors for 2022, Tricia will shape and maintain the NSSA’s primary goal of industry advocacy while also focusing on education and safety. She’ll assist in planning the Annual NSSA EXPO, which allows exhibitors to showcase new products and offers sessions on the industry’s most innovative procedures technologies.

“I’m so proud of Tricia for being chosen for the Board of Directors of NSSA,” said Keith Miller, President & CEO of Strategic Factory. “Her deep experience and knowledge of all things signage will be invaluable to the Board and organization. With her hard work and dedication, I know she’ll be a great addition, and we’re lucky to have her representing Strategic Factory.”

With over 15 years of experience in the signage industry, Tricia joined Strategic Factory in 2021 as the sales manager for the signage department. She is an expert in designing business development strategies and implementing them for better positioning in the industry. Tricia’s experience has afforded her a skill set rooted in building customer relationships, managing complex projects, and overseeing account management.

Aside from her professional experience, Tricia provides strategic vision and leadership for multiple associations in addition to NSSA, such as Maryland Sign Association and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

“I am excited to serve as a member of the NSSA Board of Directors for 2022. Having grown up in the industry, signs are more than just a job for me—they’re my passion,” said Tricia. “To be able to serve in a capacity that helps ensure the safety and wellbeing of our industry is something that brings me much joy and satisfaction.”
