Holmen Iggesund Explores the Future of “Premium” Together with Industry Experts

Press release from the issuing company

What values do we connect with premium goods and what will add premium value in the future? On November 11, Holmen Iggesund’s digital event series Unbox will explore the past, present and future of “premium”. Together with industry experts, Unbox #3 will reveal the latest trends and how they will affect the packaging solutions of tomorrow.

For the latest Unbox event, Holmen Iggesund has invited three inspiring speakers. Shankar Prasad is a chemical engineer and entrepreneur who founded Pureplay Skin Sciences in 2013 and launched Plum Goodness, India’s first vegan beauty brand. Heléne Olsson is Director Global Industry Innovation at Kairos Future, an international consulting and research company. Uwe Melichar is an experienced designer and packaging expert with a focus on sustainable packaging strategies and design. Neal Haussel from Holmen Iggesund will also join the discussion and the event will be moderated by Sabinije von Gaffke.

Together with the guests, Holmen Iggesund will explore global premium trends, how they relate to local markets, and discuss the premium concept from both a brand and a consumer perspective. The discussion will also connect the premium concept to packaging and discuss how emerging trends will affect future packaging solutions.

“Holmen Iggesund has always been a premium paperboard brand. As the concept of premium and the market is evolving, we want to lead and learn more together with our customers, partners and other experts. We are looking forward to learning more and to sharing insights. Hopefully the event will guide brand owners by exploring how packaging and future solutions will be impacted,” says Jennie Majgren, Director Marketing & Brand Management at Holmen Iggesund.

Unbox #3 will be broadcast on November 11.
