Leverage Printing Completes HP Indigo 15K Upgrades, Unleashing Next-Gen Printing Capabilities For Customers

Press release from the issuing company

Cedar Falls, Iowa – Leverage Printing announced that it has fully completed upgrades to its HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press, transforming it into the powerful HP Indigo 15K. Now fully operational, Leverage Printing's Indigo 15K can deliver unrivaled printing options and productivity for its customers.

"Our company is always pushing the envelope for our customers by investing in the latest technology," said Michael Weichers, President of Leverage Printing. "The HP Indigo 15K platform allows us to produce truly amazing pieces, transforming big ideas from our customers and make them a reality.”

Leverage Printing is now a part of a select group of nearly 1,000 printers worldwide that are equipped with the 15K Digital Press. What makes the upgrade notable is the enhanced printing productivity and quality.

With the printer's optimized automation and workflow tools, such as real-time print inspection utilizing machine learning, Leverage can maximize its uptime and get more done faster than ever before. Productivity is also enhanced by using a never-before-seen cloud-counted DFE (digital front end) Production Pro V8.0 print server that enables Leverage to handle more jobs and ensure color consistency across presses and sites.

The upgrade improves print quality benchmarks in the form of 1600 dots per inch (DPI) printing and a 4-color HDFM screen. Leverage can easily perform fast color matching and ink changeout, as the HP Indigo 15K has up to 7 ink stations and use of spot colors that enables them to reach 97% of PANTONE® colors.

Weichers continued, "We have always focused on the customer first and pride ourselves on being flexible to the customer's needs and requirements. This upgraded system will significantly broaden the scope of our capacity to be flexible. It's going to lead to exciting opportunities for both customers and our company."
