Press release from the issuing company
(DAYTON, OHIO), March 8, 2001 Standard Register today announced the appointment of Jeffrey R. Relick as President of the Company's newly formed Fulfillment Services Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
Relick joins the Company after two years as Vice President and COO of SynXis Corporation, a developer of solutions that migrate content-rich publications to the Internet. In his new position, Relick will be responsible for establishing the Fulfillment Services SBU as a leader in the document imaging industry and for broadening the product offerings within the SBU, while contributing to the Company's growth.
"When we made the decision to move to four strategic business units," says Standard Register CEO Dennis Rediker, referring to the Renewal Plan announced by the Company on January 25, "one of the big selling points was the ability to attract top-notch management to the Company. By hiring Jeff, we've shown that we can, indeed, recruit quality leaders with years of industry knowledge to Standard Register. This type of leadership," he adds, "will be vital to the Company as we execute our strategic plan."
