Printing Industries of New England joins SGP as Resource Partner

Press release from the issuing company

Sayville, N.Y. – The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading certification authority in sustainable printing, announced today that the Printing Industries of New England (PINE) has joined the SGP community as a Resource Partner.

SGP Resource Partners are non-profits, NGOs and educational institutions engaged in promoting, teaching or researching in the areas of graphic arts and/or sustainability. Resource Partners are subject matter experts that assure our entire community is empowered with the acumen to advance sustainability in the printing industry supply chain.

“PINE is committed to educating and encouraging its members to move closer to a more sustainable future,” said Christine Hagopian, PINE president. “Time is of the essence regarding the quality of the environment. By becoming a Resource Partner, we feel strongly that our alignment will help educate and assist in achieving a more sustainable supply chain."

"With this closer relationship with PINE, SGP will be able to better share sustainability information with the print community in New England," said Jonathan Graham, SGP chair and TE Connectivity representative. "We look forward to working with PINE to advance sustainable printing practices for the benefit of the industry and the world."
