GretagMacbeth Announces Strategic Partnership with Fuji Hunt

The partnership will integrate GretagMacbeth’s ProfileMaker 3.1 and iCColor into Fuji Hunt’s digital solutions offerings. The partnership enables photoprocessing customers access to a greater variety of color management solutions to increase overall photo, scanning and reproduction quality. GretagMacbeth’s ProfileMaker 3.1 utilizes innovative color technology to accurately profile all types of devices, including flat panel and CRT displays, scanners and digital cameras, as well as a broad range of output devices, including large format printers. The result is consistent color reproduction from input to monitor to final output. The advent of digital cameras and scanning technology for generating photo CDs has enabled the professional and amateur segments of the photoprocessing market to become more digitally advanced. Fuji Hunt will offer ProfileMaker as part of their first digital solutions to Minilabs and ProLabs. GretagMacbeth’s iCColor is a versatile strip reader for quick and easy measurement of control strips with densitometric and colorimetric functions in one device is designed for both process control and color management. The iCColor strip reader is supported by Fuji Hunt’s new OASIS Digital Quality Management Software.
