In support of the on-going mission to "TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH OF THE FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING PROCESS IN THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM THROUGHOUT NORTH AMERICA". Continuing this effort is more important than ever, especially as we move out of a historic pandemic and back into a more 'normal' business world. The industry deserves top talent available to strengthen company operations at all levels.

This year, the College Competition will again be an on-line event where several college teams will present their extensive multi-faceted projects including flexo printed packaging designs.

NEW Location On-Line – teams will make virtual presentation to panel of judges

*For the second-time, the virtual format will welcome all guests to watch the student teams

Additional information will be provided as soon as available.

The Phoenix Challenge College Competition is a year long event in which an industry problem is presented to the student teams and requires both market and manufacturing research as well as practical business application; and most importantly flexo printing knowledge and understanding. Students then present to a panel of industry judges which grade them across key categories including research, concept, graphics and execution.

With the changes made in response to everyone’s safety, the initiatives of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation continue. New educational programs are being created to provide presses for start-up flexo printing programs across North America. So far in 2021, two presses are being installed to continue developing these critical programs.

Converters and printers across the industry all agree that workforce development and building pressroom talent are their top concerns and priorities. These programs are designed specifically to address these concerns. As a non-profit organization, support is critical. The organization needs the industry’s financial or volunteer support to continue this work. The PCF is seeking support from both converters and suppliers alike. Industry support will continue benefit these very important initiatives. For more information, visit www.Phoenixchallenge.org or contact Bettylyn Krafft – (704) 309-3748
