Over the last several years, this Canon Solutions America, Inc. client has continued to expand its production inkjet fleet, by investing in the latest innovations to remain efficient and ahead of competitors. By upgrading its equipment to PRISMAproduction with Advanced JDF Processor (AJP), Arna continues to impress its customers with its fast turnaround times, flexibilities in finishing, and quality of output. With the latest addition of these production presses, Arna continues to lead the print industry as the “concierge” of print production.

Beyond its high-quality offerings by the production inkjet presses, Arna Marketing also streamlined and automated its book manufacturing workflow process with the installation of Book Smart Suite. This solution couples the ProStream press with PRISMAproduction Advanced JDF Processor workflow automation software and adds a Muller Martini Presto II booklet maker to produce 8-page, 16-page and 24-page signature saddle-stitch booklets. The Book Smart solution enables metadata XML files to be dropped into hot directories where they are automatically batched for job-to-job efficiency gains, imposed and released for print and finishing using 2D barcodes and JDF/JMF communications. Book Smart is part of an effort to further expand Arna’s offerings in one-off book production beyond its current 4-page signature booklets produced on the varioPRINT i-series sheetfed printers and CP Bourg saddle-stitchers.
