Sun Chemical Latin America to Increase Sheetfed and Energy Cured Products Prices

Press release from the issuing company

Parsippany, N.J. – Sun Chemical will increase prices on average by 10 percent across its entire portfolio of sheetfed products and by five percent on average for energy cured products in Latin America, effective March 15, 2021.

A combination of raw material and transportation cost increases have resulted in the price increases for Sun Chemical’s sheetfed and energy cured products in the region and additional increases in the future will depend on the ongoing evolution of raw material and transportation costs.

“Due to recent market dynamics, we are forced to increase the prices to offset the raw material and transportation increases,” said Fernando Tavara, President, Sun Chemical Latin America. “As always, we plan to work with our various suppliers to ensure there is minimal impact to customers during this time. Sun Chemical will continue to work hard to mitigate rising costs by implementing internal improvement programs and by maintaining very close communication with its suppliers and industry associations to ensure it is fully aligned to the latest procurement situation.”

Sun Chemical will communicate specific increases directly with its customers. Any customer with questions can reach out to their local Sun Chemical sales representative.
