Winners were selected by votes cast from a panel of five independent industry experts and writers including Michael Sheridan, editor, Digital Imaging; Helene DeLillo, digital imaging specialist and technical advisor for Digital Imaging; Don Sutherland, writer; Glenn Martin, photographer and contributing editor for Digital Imaging and Theano Nikitas, writer. Judges based their selections on research and personal experience with each product.
