Fatbrain.com Selected by Major Airline for Online Corporate Bookstore

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 12, 2001- Fatbrain.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN) (www.bn.com), announced today it has signed an agreement with Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) to provide a FinditNow custom online bookstore for Continental's employees worldwide.
Continental, the fifth-largest airline in the United States, selected Fatbrain.com to be the primary book vendor on Continental's intranet. Fatbrain.com's FinditNow custom online bookstore offers access to a comprehensive catalog of pertinent professional and technical titles, including books and training materials on topics ranging from business management to aeronautics.
