MAXSON Introduces Sheeter for Low Volume Users

Press release from the issuing company

MAXSON AUTOMATIC MACHINERY COMPANY, (Westerly, RI), offers a sheeter specifically designed for low volume printers and converters who require a cost effective alternative to purchasing sheeted stock.

The MSE Sheeter is designed for operations that need as few as 2000 sheets per order. Outfitted with an AC drive geared to 300 fpm (90 mpm), the MSE Sheeter can also sheet up to four rolls simultaneously, offering the user the capacity to increase production when required.

The MSE Sheeter’s solid revolver construction insures trouble free performance on a wide range of materials, cutting up to 0.024” thick (400 gsm) board. Quick and simple to set up by a single Operator, lengths are preset to within 0.01” (0.1 mm). A digital sheet length monitor allows the size to be set without cutting a sheet.

Within its 6’ x 10’ (2 x 3 m) foot print, the MSE Sheeter can convert roll up to 56” (1420 mm) wide into lengths between 13” – 52” (330 – 1320 mm) long. It can be outfitted with appropriate static eliminating equipment, slitter rig and tag inserters.
