Roland University Announces 2001 Course Schedule

Press release from the issuing company

Irvine, CA, 2/2/01 - Roland DGA Corporation today announced that Roland University will offer two-day workshops for the second straight year. Led by Roland staff and industry experts, these popular workshops teach customers how to become more successful in the graphics industry. “Roland University offers two types of workshops – the ColorCAMM PRO and the Hi-Fi JET/CAMMJET,” said Bryan Ballreich, Roland Training and Production Manager. “We teach our customers how to get the most out of their machines and their businesses. Roland is proud to open its doors for education. These classes are a big part of what keeps Roland a step ahead of the competition.” The interactive style of these workshops provides Roland customers with an ideal learning environment. By operating the machines and sharing tips and techniques, customers become skilled at everything from proper machine maintenance to printing short-run stickers or fine-art giclées. “Even the teachers pick up valuable industry secrets at these classes,” said Ballreich. The Hi-Fi JET and CAMMJET workshop is designed for users who want in-depth training on maintaining their inkjet machines, as well as tips and tricks for using Roland ColorChoice® RIP software, increasing productivity and prolonging printer performance. Classes cover a wide variety of profitable business opportunities including print-for-pay, POP, print-and-cut, photography and fine art. Roland experts will teach maintenance, media and fine-tuning tips and be available for detailed question and answer sessions. The ColorCAMM PRO workshop offers users an in-depth, inside look at the techniques and methods of ColorCAMM users who are already making money with the machine. Classes cover a wide variety of profitable business opportunities including signs, decals and vehicle graphics on vinyl, as well as how to create full-color logos and mascots for new types of garment applications. Roland experts will teach maintenance and fine-tuning tips and be available for detailed question and answer sessions. All classes are held at the Roland Headquarters in Irvine, California.
