ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 1, 2001 -- FutureColor, a code name for Xerox Corporation's upcoming advanced digital color press, will be the most significant product introduction in Xerox's history. With a $1 billion investment and years of R&D, Xerox has created a new generation of technology that will revolutionize the digital color printing market. Preparations for the FutureColor launch are already under way as a helicopter places special air-handling units on a building in Webster, N.Y., to support advanced manufacturing requirements.
