New Color Proofing Product Available At Graphics Of The Americas

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, IL. -- February 1, 2001 Delivering on a promise to provide the small format printer everything they need to succeed, A.B. Dick- Multigraphics Company has launched a drymatch color proofing material called Proof Perfect. Introduced several months ago as DryMatch Proof, A.B.Dick (booth #911) will include samples and an explanation of how Proof Perfect works during the Graphics of the Americas show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Proof Perfect is a quick, cost-effective and time efficient product that delivers true color proofs to match the color on press. A dry process proofing material, it eliminates the need for processors, processing chemicals, toners and water. With no need for chemicals, it reduces inventory to stock, cuts out hazardous waste material and slashes costs. It can even make proofing capabilities a profit center for printers. "Proof Perfect is as easy as laminate, expose and peel, and peel it does in one easy, consistent sheet," explained Alan Pacquer, Product Manager for A.B.Dick-Multigraphics. "With the fast exposure and quick peel, printers will find it reduces production time from 30 to 50 percent. All they need is a laminator, an exposure unit and Proof Perfect."
