CHICAGO, IL. -- February 1, 2001 With three consecutive years of improved attendance and greater sales volume, there is little wonder why A.B.Dick - Multigraphics officials are looking forward to the Graphics of the Americas show. A new product line extension of the company's (booth #911) award-winning Digital PlateMaster direct-to-plate series will be one of the main focal points when it debuts during the Feb. 2-4 event at the Miami Beach Convention Center. A.B.Dick - Multigraphics will offer a complete line-up of digital products, traditional offset and post-press equipment, and consumables in Miami. Three products that performed extremely well at last year's show were the 9995 true 2-color offset press, the A.B.Dick Colour digital press and the DPM2340 direct-to-plate device. The 9995 will be represented by the recently introduced 9995A-ICS (with ink control system), and the DPM2340 (with ScanMaster digital scanning solution and Open Proof software) in tandem with the brand new and larger DPM2508. Additionally, A.B.Dick will offer its new deSign U. system, a turnkey custom poster, sign and banner solution; the PowerPro 34, a premium 2-tower portrait press; the Multi 4610 offset press with second Townsend color head, and the unique Watkiss SpineMaster booklet maker. The A.B.Dick Supplies division will introduce Proof Perfect, a drymatch color proofing system that includes samples and an explanation of how the product works.
