MGX Expands Portfolio to Include UniSyn Opaque

Press release from the issuing company

Now Stocking 8 mil Near-Dead Opaque Synthetic Paper

St. Louis, Mo. – MGX is now stocking UniSyn Opaque, a near-dead opaque synthetic paper with broad compatibility.

UniSyn Opaque is available in 8-mil and in a variety of sheet sizes. Its high opacity extends its compatibility to two-sided applications, such as signage, push-pull window graphics, banners, menus, manuals, and more. It has the benefits print service providers (PSP’s) have come to expect from our UniSyn product line, including faster dry and cure times, optimal color accuracy, superior ink adhesion, and enhanced durability.

“We expanded the MGX portfolio of specialty substrates to include UniSyn Opaque after receiving requests from many of our customers. They needed a high opacity substrate with the same ease of printability and production benefits as the standard-grade UniSyn, so we made sure they got it,” said Charity Brueggemann, General Manager of MGX. “The broad list of compatible applications for UniSyn Opaque gives PSP’s flexibility and opportunity to produce quality print materials that will please their customers.”

MGX is a premier specialty substrate manufacturer. The team at MGX is committed to helping print solution providers (PSP’s) improve the performance and ease of running synthetic-based materials, grow their business, better serve clients, and bolster profitability. MGX is equipped with an extensive portfolio – including synthetic papers, rigid vinyls, polyesters, styrenes, pressure sensitive films, metallized, and more – as well as industry-leading substrate consulting to help PSP’s tackle their next litho, flexo, or digital project.
