Fisher Textiles Hosts Back to Business Textile Imaging Symposium

Press release from the issuing company

Matthews, N.C. – Fisher Textiles, a leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, hosted its first-ever textile imaging symposium with industry partners Axiom America, DGI, Mutoh, REXframe and Practix Mfg. at its corporate headquarters on October 21-22, 2020.

Health and safety protocols were strictly enforced including limited attendees, COVID screening, temperature checks, sanitizing stations, social distancing and face covering requirements.

Educational sessions led by the industry's top experts included Dye Sub 101, Color Management, SEG Innovations and All About Fabric. Live production demos held in Fisher’s state-of-the-art print and demo room featured turnkey production with equipment from Mutoh, DGI, CadCam Technology, Practix Mfg., fabric media from Fisher Textiles and framing systems from REXframe. Start to finish demos focused on face mask production, feather flag production, SEG production and personalized blanket production.

Ernie Creech, Owner of Conder Flag Company in Charlotte, NC said, “Thanks again for today and all you did for us today and allowing all my staff to come and see and learn. Too many times they just get stuck in the office and cannot learn and see what is out there. Great opportunity to converse with techs and expand their knowledge”.

Scott Fisher, President and CEO of Fisher Textiles said, “The event was a great success. We were able to safely utilize our demo and training rooms to support customers with on-site training and provide educational resources to the industry”.
