Results are based on over 21,000 survey responses from customers who recently completed a purchase and were asked how likely they would be to recommend the business to others. Performers in the top quartile achieved a Net Promoter Score greater than 97; in the top-middle quartile 93-96; in the bottom- middle quartile 87-92; the bottom quartile achieved less than 86.

Awards are based on a compilation of feedback and buyer reviews gathered from companies participating in LoyaltyLoop’s online feedback service. LoyaltyLoop enables local businesses of all types to react quickly to customer feedback and complaints, as well as automatically encourage online reviews to be posted on Google, Facebook and their website.
To qualify for the award, participating companies must have customer satisfaction results for each of the three months of the quarter, with no fewer than 15 survey respondents in each month. An overall winner is chosen based on the overall Net Promoter Score for the quarter. To break a tie, the company with the higher quarterly survey response rate is chosen.
