Press release from the issuing company

Ann Arbor, Michigan – October 10, 2008 – Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, RIP management software and workflow solutions, today announced that it will be demonstrating the Navigator RIP Manager 3.5 at the Graph Expo show October 26-29 in Chicago.

Navigator RIP Manager, the workflow interface of Navigator GPS, provides users with:

- Integrated workflow from client workstations

- Extensive job management functionality

- Enhanced job viewer

- RIP Control

- Optional PDF Tools for creating and preflighting PDFs including latest Enfocus PitStop library

Navigator RIP Manager 3.5 is integrated with Navigator GPS 8 which incorporates Harlequin core RIP technology from Global Graphics Software. Navigator GPS 8 includes native support for PDF1.7 and XPS v1.0. In addition, a PDF soft-proofing plug-in option creates a raster PDF of jobs for final client approval. Navigator RIP Manager is also available as a standalone workflow solution for use with virtually any Harlequin RIP.

RIP Manager 3.5 offers several enhancements over the previous versions of RIP Manager including a redesigned user interface, improved RIP feedback at client workstations, ability to enable/disable RIP from the client, and expanded search options making it easier to locate jobs within the workflow. In addition, the PDF Tools option now incorporates the latest Enfocus PitStop library within the preflighting module.

“Xitron is committed to continuous product development and especially proud when we bring products to market that offer an economic advantage to printers,” stated Mark Eisenschenk, Xitron's President and Chief Executive Officer. “RIP Manager provides a significant boost in productivity through automation and ease-of-use which translates to increased profitability in most print shops.”

Navigator RIP Manager 3.5 will begin shipping in November and is available as an upgrade for existing Navigator and Torrent RIP users as well as third-party Harlequin RIPs from a number of leading manufacturers.
