Lightning Source, Digital River Join to Expand Options for Publishing Industry

LaVergne, TN and Minneapolis, MN – Lightning Source Inc. sm, a leading digital fulfillment company, and Digital River, Inc.® (NASDAQ: DRIV), a global Commerce Service Provider (CSP), today announced that they have entered a strategic partnership to offer a comprehensive suite of e-commerce services for the book publishing industry.
Under the agreement, Digital River will offer its comprehensive e-commerce services in tandem with Lightning’s digital content fulfillment services. The partnership provides Digital River with a key point of access to publishers and booksellers while enhancing Lightning’s leadership in this market. The two companies will jointly sell this solution to book publishers and retailers.
