Milford, Ohio – In the past week, a select group of industry members convened for the annual judging of submissions for the TLMI Label Awards. The association’s judging panel met for two days near TLMI’s headquarters in Cincinnati to determine which submissions will be named Best of Class and Best of Show at this year’s Virtual Annual Meeting.

The judging marks the first time TLMI members have met face-to-face since the association’s Converter Meeting in March. Label Award winners will be announced at the TLMI Virtual Annual Meeting taking place November 11-12. The TLMI Annual Meeting’s full program and content will be available to any and all employees at TLMI’s member companies and will include an extensive Virtual Exhibition Hall featuring TLMI suppliers and sponsor tabletops featuring new products and services. The association will be opening registration for the event on October 8, 2020, and the first 500 registrants will receive gift boxes containing custom treats and items curated specifically for TLMI members.

TLMI President, Linnea Keen, comments, “We are well aware that some people have ‘Zoom Fatigue’ and are tired of GoTo Webinars and Team Meetings. We understand! However, this year our way to connect and engage with a large portion of our membership is virtually. We had a few guiding principles when planning for our Virtual Annual Meeting: To be mindful of people’s busy schedules, to deliver meaningful and actionable content in a succinct manner, and most of all, to keep it simple. We view this as a celebration for all of our members. It’s just a couple of hours each of the two days and the event will culminate with a celebration of our industry as people interact with their colleagues and friends. I hope that all TLMI members will join us November 11th and 12th as we celebrate our industry and the uniqueness of this year… together!”

Registration fees for the TLMI Virtual Annual Meeting are as follows:

· Individual registration: $199

· Three-person registration: $479

· Five-person registration: $649

· Ten-person registration: $1,000

Meeting sponsorships are still available for the event however are filling up quickly.

In addition to the TLMI Label Awards, also announced at the Virtual Annual Meeting will be the winners of the Calvin Frost Environmental Awards. These prestigious awards recognize TLMI member companies that have consistently demonstrated a commitment to progressive environmental practices. The deadline for environmental award submissions is October 1st.
