Global Graphics Powers Miyakoshi's High-Speed Digital Press

Press release from the issuing company

Japanese manufacturer looks to roll out Global Graphics’ technology across all digital presses

Cambridge, UK – Global Graphics® Software has licensed Fundamentals™ to Miyakoshi Printing Machinery Co. Ltd. to create a new software engine for the Miyakoshi MJP20AXW high-speed, high-resolution digital press for commercial and transactional applications. The new engine will be available in presses launched at the end of this year and Miyakoshi plans to adopt it across its entire digital fleet.

The Miyakoshi MJP20AXW is a four colour duplex press which will operate at 160meters/min and 1200dpi resolution. The new engine will be driven by Fundamentals which bundles together Harlequin® Direct from the new Direct graphics pipeline announced by Global Graphics in April this year with PACKZ and CLOUDFLOW from Global Graphics’ partner company, HYBRID Software. The result is a powerful pipeline that links together seamlessly all the processes in the print production workflow from job submission through to delivering data directly to the Miyakoshi print head electronics.

Global Graphics’ Technical Services team is working alongside Miyakoshi engineers on the project.
