Lanier Unveils New Digital Copier and Printer Systems

ATLANTA, - Lanier Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: LR) today introduced the Lanier 5625 and 5631 Digital Copier/Printer Systems, two digital solutions designed to deliver exceptional speed and image quality for black-and-white and colour copying and printing. The Lanier 5625 and 5631 are currently available. "Today, most workgroups still depend on black-and-white systems for printing everything from e-mail to spreadsheets, reports and graphs," said Paul Anderson, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Lanier. "But to stay competitive in a digital marketplace, office users need to do more than print in black-and-white. Now, with the Lanier 5625 and 5631 Digital Copier/Printer Systems, our customers can choose a total document solution that provides outstanding black-and-white output, and also features colour copying and printing." The 5625 and 5631 deliver 600 dpi digital output with continuos-tone image quality that rivals many other digital systems in their class. The 5625 produces 25 black-and-white pages per minute, or six colour pages per minute. The 5631 also delivers six colour pages per minute, and can produce 31 black-and-white pages per minute The 5625 and 5631 provide A3/ledger copying and printing, auto image rotation, and "scan once, print many" capabilities. The 5631 also offers convenient automatic duplexing and optional document editing.
