American Printer has launched a new web site in cooperation with their sister company, IndustryClick. PRIMEDIA is the parent company of both. The site features an editorial search box, content from the magazine and news stories on the front page. Other publications in the PRIMEDIA group have similar sites using the same template.
According to IndustryClick's web site, their mission is to "build comprehensive, highly focused industry communities. IndustryClick has offices in Princeton, NJ; Kansas City, MO; Chicago and Stamford, CT.
As opposed to the previous American Printer site, there are no industry specific banner ads or links. According to Doug Hartline, President of TPX and a partner with the previous American Printer site, "They have put many issues on hold while they develop their complete plan." Katherine O'Brien, Editor of American Printer, was not available for comment at the time we published this announcement.
