Applied Chemistries Inc. Launches Two, Pandemic-Friendly Services on its New Website

Press release from the issuing company

Agawam, Mass. – With pandemic travel and face-to-face meetings limited, Applied Chemistries Inc. has introduced two services for printers on its new website - remote technical audits and online needs assessments.

“With both, the goal is to increase print quality and efficiency while minimizing downtime during these difficult times,” notes founder Brian St. Pierre.

Their Real-Time Pressroom Audit uses the Apple FaceTime or Google Duo smartphone video apps to allow Applied’s experts to view pre-press and pressroom departments and speak directly to operators about their current issues.

“From there, we offer technical advice on proper processes, recommend products and even solve some nagging problems,” says St. Pierre.

“The Product Recommendation Survey asks for specific press information, such as roller temperatures, ink type, dampening systems, along with ink & water set points and much more,” according to St. Pierre. “So it’s easier for us to make sound product recommendations,” he notes.

The new Applied Chemistries website at appliedchemistries.com displays the firm’s more than 40 industrial and printing chemical products and services using simple navigation. It includes product pictures, concise descriptions, Tech and Safety Data Sheets and a web accessibility menu for users with disabilities.
