LCP Expands Print-On-Demand Capacity

Press release from the issuing company

LCP is pleased to announce they have invested in two Kyocera TASKalfa 13600 black and white digital printing production systems to support print-on-demand (POD) manufacturing. The Kyocera systems handle single-sided and duplex production flows and will link directly with LCP’s manufacturing workflow for efficient production.

These two state-of-the-art document production machines can handle sheet sizes up to 13” x 19.2” and print on a wide range of paper stocks. With the ability to handle weights up to 130 lb. cover, these printers are the perfect fit for equipment manuals, training documents, and imprinting personalized direct mail on pre-printed shells. With 1200 X 4800 dpi print resolution, you get smooth halftones, crisp text, and smooth graduations.

Tom Johnson, LCP’s President, said, “We have seen tremendous growth in our print-on-demand business during the past year and expect this trend to continue. Print-on-demand helps customers eliminate material obsolescence and lowers the barriers to updating artwork. With the addition of these two new digital presses, we ensure we are keeping pace with our client’s changing needs, so that we can continue to help them meet their goals.”
