Press release from the issuing company
MENLO PARK, CA -- iPrint, inc. (NASDAQ: IPRT), the leading online print shop and print infrastructure provider located at http://www.iPrint.com, today announced that PC Data Online and NextCard each ranked iPrint among their lists of the top 20 Web retailers for the month of November 2000. iPrint was ranked number 18 on both lists.
Other industry leaders joining iPrint in PC Data Online's Top 20 November rankings included premier holiday e-tailers such as Amazon.com, BestBuy.com and jcrew.com. PC Data Online ranks the top e-businesses by estimating purchase rates based on the number of "unique" users that visit a transaction-related page within each site. Figures are based on a proprietary sample of more than 120,000 home Internet users.
iPrint was also listed on NextCard's November eCommerce Index(SM), the premier metric of monthly online consumer spending. Amazon.com, eBay and BarnesAndNoble.com were among the other e-tailers included in the holiday shopping index. NextCard's data is based on actual credit card transactions instead of Web site traffic, and is the first such Index in the 2000 holiday shopping season to report the real impact of online holiday shopping. The NextCard eCommerce Index is a monthly listing of the top Web sites based on the number of online transactions by more than 500,000 NextCard cardholders. The Index provides valuable information about where online consumers are actually buying, and also reflects the ability of merchants to convert Web visitors to buyers, and buyers to repeat customers.
